Stephen LaPrad Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen LaPrad of Pratt, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen LaPrad to pay them a last tribute.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Stephen leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Manard and Wilma Evelyn LaPrad (Smeltzer). He is survived by: his wife Sally LaPrad; his daughters, Mollie Bretz (Michael) of Hoxie, KS and Nancy LaPrad-Rowell (Chad) of McPherson, KS; his sister Freida Latshaw (Harry) of Rossville, KS; and his grandchildren, Sam Bretz (KayCee), Drew Bretz and Mat Bretz. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Island at Elm Mills (28 NW Main Lake Road, Sawyer, KS 67134).
