He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William Wade and Georgene Elizabeth Baird Wade; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Martha Mattheyer; his son William (Haley); his grandson William Oaksen Wade of Pratt; his siblings, Ed Wade (Laurinda) of Wichita and Elizabeth Wade; his mother-in-law Mary Mattheyer; and also, Lou Hartwig of Kansas City and Mary Helen Mattheyer.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (100 N Jackson St, Pratt, KS 67124).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Georgene Wade Children's Charities Fund in care of the South-Central Community Foundation or to the Political Science Scholarship in care of the Pratt Community College Foundation.
