He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen VanGieson (Pete) and Ruth VanGieson (Brooks); his son Randy VanGieson; and his granddaughter Angel VanGieson. He is survived by: his son Robert Eugene (Bobby); his wife Marilyn VanGieson of Rago; his children, Wayne VanGieson (Grace) of Norwich, Bobby VanGieson (Janet) of Norwich, Lori Maness (Paul) of Norwich and Jodi VanGieson (Kyle) of Carter; his daughter-in-law Janet VanGieson of Norwich; and his sisters, Janet Doze (Charles) and Beverly Miller of Wichita. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives and friends.
