He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Basgall and Florentine Basgall (Urban); his spouse Shirley Kay Schweitzer; and his siblings, Shirley Ann, Darlene Adams, Ed and Donnie Basgall.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Basgall of Ransom, Jennifer Bretton (Shawn) of Salina and Joni Kisslinger (Dusty) of Overbrook; his grandchildren, Desiree Draper (Shane), Ashleigh LeBarge (Ethan), Erianna De (Daniel), Daeton Winebrenner, Carissa Winebrenner, Daria, Effie and Damaya Kisslinger; his great grandchild Spencer; and his sister Lucretia Giersch (Kenny) of Salina.
Viewing will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home (207 N Pennsylvania Ave, Ness City, KS 67560). A rosary will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. Aloysius Church (107 N Vermont Ave, Ransom, KS 67572). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at the Ransom Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Leslie Basgall Funeral Fund.
