He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nettleton and Jennie Lee Nettleton (Goldsmith); and his son Tristan. He is survived by: his wife Kim Smulling; his children, Brett Nettleton (Jesse) of Emporia, Rider Nettleton (Emily Scott) of Kansas City, Missouri and Jennifer Beemer (Stephen) of Admire; his pets, Rose and Max; his siblings, Tim Nettleton of Topeka and Tammy VandeVelde (Jerry) of Lyndon; and his grandchildren, Della, Lilah, Mora, Samantha and Emmett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feltner Funeral Chapel (818 Topeka Ave, Lyndon, KS 66451). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Miller United Methodist Church (3290 Main St, Vassar, KS 66543). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 1834 Rd 310, Reading, KS 66868.
