It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcia Borst of Reece, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marcia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marcia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marcia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Morton and Eleanor Marie "Ellie" Morton (Hedges). She is survived by: her husband Shawn Borst; her daughter Sidnee; her son-in-law TJ Gulick of Eureka; her grandchildren, Tad, Ellie and Tobin; and her sisters, Michelle Rupe of Medford and Melinda Bannon of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to On This Rock Church for their water well project in Africa – a cause close to Marcia's heart.
