She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Purvis and Edith Purvis; and her brother David Purvis. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Weaver of Leavenworth; and her siblings, John Purvis (Andrea) of Mound City, Mary Jones (Tom) of Cottonwood Falls, Laura Burnett (Steve) of Wamego, Alice Purvis of Fredonia and Evonne Joyal (Jim) of Olathe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home (303 S Broadway St, Riley, KS 66531). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Riley United Methodist Church (104 E Ash St, Riley, KS 66531). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Riley Cemetery (6681 Union Rd, Riley, KS 66531).
