She was predeceased by: her parents, George Theis and Mary Theis; and her sister Sandy Sproat. She is survived by: her significant other Bill Hill; her former husband Gary Hamons; her son Jeff Hamons; her grandchildren, Elise and Alaina; her son Chad Hamons (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Griffin and Ade; her brother Eric Theis (Dalene); her sibling's children, Ryan and McKensie; her brother-in-law Alan Sproat; her nephew Brian; her cousins, Pam Ellis and Allen Roberts; and also, Elizabeth, Henry, Luke and Denise. She is also survived by mother and grandmother, always putting her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice, a cause close to her heart.
