She was predeceased by: her parents, George Theis and Mary Theis; and her sister Sandy Sproat. She is survived by: her significant other Bill Hill; her former husband Gary Hamons; her son Jeff Hamons; her grandchildren, Elise and Alaina; her son Chad Hamons (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Griffin and Ade; her brother Eric Theis (Dalene); her sibling's children, Ryan and McKensie; her brother-in-law Alan Sproat; her nephew Brian; her cousins, Pam Ellis and Allen Roberts; Elizabeth, Henry, Luke and Denise. She is also survived by mother and grandmother, always putting her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice, a cause close to her heart.
