In the vast expanse of eternity, Laurel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Laurel farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hartman Blythe and Rowena Boyd Blythe; and her sisters, Mary Blythe and Blythe Odneal. She is survived by: her husband William Thomas Mace, Jr. (Bill); her sons, David Hartman Mace and Benjamin Thomas Mace; and her sister Melinda Blythe Marx. She is also survived by her husband of nearly 60 years and two children, Laurel leaves five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and family to make gifts in her honor to the memorial fund at Country Club Christian Church and Tall Oaks Camp and Conference Center.
