He is survived by: his wife Jackie Cannon Mercer; his sons, Michael "Kelly" Mercer and Jack Mercer; his daughters-in-law, Mollie Mercer and Lauren Mercer; his grandchildren, Patrick and Finnegan; and his siblings, Chris Mercer and Kitty Wayne. He is also survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law; along with many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
