With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Wayne Wagner of Roeland Park, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Ruth Wagner (Hornbostel); his parents, Charles Wagner and Alvina Wagner; his brothers, James and Jack Wagner (Karen Wagner); and his brother-in-law Reverend Michael May.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah A. Durham (Wagner) and Michael T. Wagner (Toni Wagner); his grandchildren, Landon Durham, Bennett Durham, Sophie Durham, Emelia Durham and Kelly Covey (Tim); his great grandchildren, Georgia Ann Durham, Addison Covey and Kowen Covey; his siblings, Charles G. (Jackie Wagner), Susan Loehr, Donna (Chuck Payne), Judy May and Linda Sparks; and his sisters-in-law, Deborah Wagner and Jennifer Wagner.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ascension Lutheran Church, 4900 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
