The passing of Ronald Long of Rose Hill, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 80. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Long and Martha Jane Long (Wiseman); and his brother Robert Long. He is survived by: his wife Diana Kathleen Burkhart; his children, Catherine Lietz (Richard), Ronald Long Jr. and Michael Long; his siblings, Steven Long and Patricia Shanks; his grandchildren, Catherine Stiles, Joshua Stiles, Madison Long, Parker Long, Tyler Long, Reagan Long, Gilbert Lietz, Matthew Lietz and Sabrina Lietz; and his great grandchildren, Addison Stiles, Wyatt Stiles, Isabella Louis, Theodore Louis, Porter Long, Harvey Long, Sierra, Skylar, Faith, AJ Lietz, Mariah Lietz, Christian Lietz, Krya Lietz and Brayden Lietz.

In honor of Ronald's giving spirit and love for his fellow servicemen and children, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, 2401 Gillham Rd., Kansas City, MO 64108, or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
