We announce the death of Sharon Lynn Edwards (Rose Hill, Kansas), who passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 80. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Sharon will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Sharon will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Sharon’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parent Jane Shepard; her stepfather Bob Shepard; her sisters, Judy, Patricia and Carolyn; and her son-in-law Tracy Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, William Edwards (Donelda) and Julie Duncan; and her grandchildren, Ty and Taylor Edwards. She is also survived by numerous extended family members, including two nieces, one nephew, and many cousins and dear friends.
