He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo C. and Mary G. Bennett (Morris); his wife Norma Reicherter; his children, Dennis Bennett, Randy Bennett and Yvonne Pollman; and his brother Gale Bennett.
He is survived by: his son Mark Bennett; his sisters, Mary Homan of St. Marys and Judi Merriman of Lawrence; and his sister-in-law Edna Bennett of Topeka. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
