He was predeceased by : his parents, Solomon and Elfreda; his wife Betty Ann (Balloun); his siblings, Raymond E. Boxberger and DorLeen Hunter (Boxberger); and his sister-in-law Celia Boxberger.
He is survived by : his sons, Matthew Boxberger (Genevieve) of San Jose, Mark Boxberger (Amy) of Noblesville, Thomas Boxberger (Sheri) of Lawrence, Timothy Boxberger (Dylan Palma) of Russell and Scott Boxberger (Desiree) of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandchildren, George, Joe, Betsy (Karim Khalil), Jakob, Elyse, Gretchen, Cassie, Joshua and Jenna; and his great grandchild Rami. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. John Lutheran Church.
