He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip J. Hampl and Matilda K. Hampl (Bachman); and his sister Clara Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Julie Davis (Roger) of Santa Barbara, California and Kevin Hampl (Sarah) of Platte City, Missouri; and his granddaughters, Elisabeth Hampl and Hannah Hampl.
