Diane will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Diane by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Diane is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Diane’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Alvin Larson. She is survived by: her children, Clarence Larson (Cheryl) of Russell, Carl Larson (Judy) of Russell, Kansas and Catherine Byrd-Fatty of Grandview, Missouri; and her sisters, Karen Brull (Allen) of Munjor and Mary Arrambidez (Fred) of Tyler, Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary (610 N Maple St, Russell, KS 67665). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
A Memorial has been established with St. Mary, Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
