He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold William, Sr. and Marion Maxine Thurow (Held); and his brother Bill Thurow, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Milke (Brown); his children, Anliet Milke of Wichita and Jarred Milke of Russell, Kansas; his sister Pam Thurow of Greeley, Colorado; his sister-in-law Zanna Thurow of Evans, Colorado; his nieces, Tammy Schneider (Bill) and Wendy Thurow; and his close friend Lonnie Carter. He is also survived by great nieces and great nephews; cousins.
A memorial has been established with the Great Bend Wrestling Team.
