She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Eurich and Alvina Eurich (Karst); and her sister Diana Brown. She is survived by : her former life partner Calvin Templeton; her spouse Gale Sechtem; her stepson Philip; her children, Phillip Sechtem (Josefina "Jo") of Provo, Utah, John Sechtem of Russell, Kansas and Julie Sechtem of Russell, Kansas; her siblings, Marjorie Reinhardt of Denver, Colorado and Alan Templeton of Russell, Kansas.; and also, William and Lydia Karst.

A Memorial has been established with the Russell County Food Pantry.
