He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin "Cleve" Marshall and Myrtle Marshall (Mitchell); his wife Janice Rae Stewart; his siblings, Cleo Sharp, Rolland Marshall and Bernard Marshall; and his son-in-law Gary Morse.

He is survived by : his children, LaRissa Morse of Peculiar, Missouri, Aaron Marshall (Paula) of Elkhorn and Eric Marshall (Linda) of Kearney, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kayla Owens (Blake), Chloe Morse, Matthew Marshall, Caroline Marshall, Miranda Marshall and Marleigh Marshall; his great grandchild Bristol Owens; and his sister-in-law Linda Motzner (Bill) of Lexington, Nebraska.
