He is survived by: his wife Donna of Russell, Kansas; his children, Schon Thacker (Mandi) of Overland Park, Kansas, Tavi Collins (Jason) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Chastity Thacker (Dustin Stiles) of Russell, Kansas; his sister-in-law Linda Harmon Gibbs of Russell, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Kavion, Kerriana, Abrielle, Elijah, Bailee, Chevelle and Aaron.

Memorials may be given to the Russell Regional Hospital Auxiliary and sent to the mortuary.
