With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Hendrich of Russell, Kansas, who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben E. Hendrich and Ina G. Hendrich (Cooper); and his wife Linda A. Boswell. He is survived by: his sons, Joey Hendrich (Laurie) of Olathe and Bradley Hendrich of Hinton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Bryan (Brandi), Brody, Brock, Megan, Zachary and Claire; his great grandchildren, Zaidyn and Quintyn; and his siblings, Leslie Hendrich, Anel Minneman and Faith Rud.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Russell City Cemetery (00000 E HWY 40, Russell, KS 67665).
