He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eli Meyer, Sr. and Emma Meyer (Edelman); his grandfather Abraham Meyer; his wife Janet Kay Nelson of Sabetha; his daughter Lori Kristine; his granddaughter Natalie Kay Baumgartner; his siblings, Herbert, Eli Jr., Lois M. Meyer, Nadyeen Edelman and Alma Steidinger; his children, Jim (Kristin) of Bern, Kim Baumgartner (Jeff) of Bern, Carla of Bern and Matt (Kate) of Sudbury, MA; and his sister Mary Helen Neukomm of Cissna Park, IL.. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
