She was predeceased by : her parents, Eddy J. Schneweis and Cecelia Schneweis (Prusa); her granddaughter Kristin Brunner; and her siblings, Leon Schneweis and Marie Fisher.

She is survived by : her husband Bob Neuwirth of Pilsen; her children, Kapan, Duane Neuwirth of Lost Springs, Diana Stanfill of Salina and Laurie Brunner (Jay) of Herington; her grandchildren, Crystal Barnett, Mitchell Neuwirth, Jason Brunner and Josh Brunner; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Easton, Ellis and Elise Barnett; and her siblings, Larry Schneweis, Jim Schneweis (Janet), Laurie Swalley (Glenn) and Ellen Carlstead.
