She was predeceased by : her father Edgar J. Huffman; her husband Kenneth Neil Parten; her son William "Bill" Parten; her brothers, Charles Huffman and Warren Huffman; and her close friend Nancy K Ginest.

She is survived by : her daughter Kimberly Sallee (Jim) of West Point; her brother Harold Huffman of Pratt; and her granddaughter Mandy McMurdo (Brian) of Kimberling City.
