Larry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Larry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Larry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Lawrence and Pauline Garner (Shank); and his brother Robert Garner. He is survived by: his children, James Garner (Leslie) of Auburn, KS, Tom Garner (Sabrena), Jeremiah Garner (Tiffany) of Brighton, CO and Samantha Garner of Overland Park, KS; and his brother-in-law Bo Brant (Dedra) of Pratt, KS. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minnis Chapel, St. John (526 E 4th Ave, St John, KS 67576). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
