He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leroy and Esther Elizabeth Davied (McKinney); his siblings, Verdan, Gerald, Jim, Anna Mae Mies, Kathleen Ewan and Doris Kennedy; his son Mark; and his grandson Josh Grim.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice Vitt of Patrick's Catholic Church; his children, Dan Davied (Leah), Greg Davied (Kelly) and Marlene Grim (Scott); his siblings, Clara Whelan, Bernard Davied and Frank Davied; and his grandson Matthew Davied. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Francis Catholic Church or the St. Aloysius Historical Society.
