She was predeceased by: her husband John Burgess; her parents, Mary Louise (Schwartz) and C. B. Dodge Jr.; and her sister Kathy Burton. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Colahan (Jim), Marty Winkelman, Missy McCarthy (Kent) and Alison Brake (J. D.); and her sisters, Janet Denning and Nancy Burns (Clark). She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Heartland Worship Center (118 S 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2078 E Iron Ave, Salina, KS 67401).
