We are sad to announce that, on September 21, 2022, at the age of 70, Barbara Rairden in Salina, Kansas, born in Abilene, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Delores Lee Kerr-Alford; her husband Elmer Ray "Butch" Rairden; her son Elmer Ray Rairden, Jr.; her father Martin George Alford; her brother Gary Lee Alford; and her grandson Asher Schmelzle.
She is survived by: her grandson Alex; her sister Judith "Judy" Reneá Alford-Life (Jim) of Rogers, Arkansas; her children, Rebecca Ann Morgan (Wayne) of Topeka, Kansas, Justin Ray Rairden of Kansas City, KS, Trisha "Nikki" Nicole Rairden-Schmelzle and Natosha Rae Batzler of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Annabelle Lee Schmelzle of Lakewood, CO, Austin James Schmelzle and Alexander Elijah Schmelzle of Olathe, Kansas; and her close friend Darlene Sue Champe-Schrag (Mike) of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by nephew, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Grandchildren's Educational Fund, The Best Friends Animal Society-Utah, or to any local rescue shelter for homeless animals.
