She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Stoppel and Anna Stoppel (Eaton); her husband Theodore Tanuis Sr.; her son Jeffrey Tanuis; and her sisters, Ann Heller, Elaine Stithem and Dorthy Welborn.

She is survived by: her children, Edward Tanuis, Theodore Tanuis Jr., Roger Tanuis, Douglas Tanuis and Laurie Davidson; and her brother Chris Stoppel. She is also survived by numerous grand children and great grandchildren.
