With sadness, we share the passing of Betty M. Chick of Salina, Kansas. Betty, born on February 24, 1937, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lambert Larson and Ruth Larson Cummings (Ellingson); her husband Duane E. Chick; and her brother-in-law Jack Willis. She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Meier (Michael) of Salina, KS; her grandchildren, Dr. Leah Peterson (Jacob) of Salina and Dr. Isaac Meier (Theresa) of Lincoln, NE; her great grandchildren, August, Vivienne Peterson, Maxwell and Margaret Meier; and her sister Zelma Willis of Sabetha, KS..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary (909 Central Ave, Horton, KS 66439). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Whiting Fire Department and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
