He was predeceased by: his parents, Engelbert Gross and Helen Gross (Meier); his sister Janet Weigel; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Gross and Robert Bieker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sheila Pulkrabek of Salina, Carol Coulter (Maurice) of Milton, Daniel Gross of Hays, Roger Gross of Munjor and Barb Yates (Taft) of Ellis; and his brother-in-law Mike Weigel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
