He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Monroe and Ima Jean Monroe (Prather); and his sister Cathy. He is survived by: his niece Amy Ankrum of Salina; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh Wineland (Beth), Chauncey Kuhl (Brooke) and Kelly Kuhl (Megan); and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Whitney, Cali, Fin Wineland, Tillie Kuhl and Maxxwel Kuhl.
