He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Paul Reid and Mary Gladys Broadwater Reid; his brother Virgil "Paul" Reid; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Lee Reid. He is survived by: his wife Esther Ann Fyfe; his son Brian Eugene Reid; his daughter-in-law Mary Martha Reid; his grandchildren, Jeremy Tyler Reid (Jill Leeann Reid), Mason Cole Reid (Jill Diane Reid) and Kayla Stalnaker (Darick Stalnaker); his great grandchildren, Jackson Charles Reid, Judah Wallace Reid, Nora Stalnaker and Jolee Jewel Reid; and his nieces, Nancy Anne Reid and Sally Jo Reid.
Along with his countless contributions to the church, he was a member of the Beloit City Council, Rotary, Shriners, Masons, and many other organizations.
