He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Ann (Thyfault) and Doyal Keith Hrabe; his in-laws, Joe and Margaret; his brothers, Brad and Alec Hrabe; his siblings-in-law, Brad Muir and Carol Jo Hrabe; and his siblings' children, Michael Mongeau and Tasha Keiter.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie (Keiter); his son Andrew of Salina; his sister Regina Muir of Stockton, KS; his siblings-in-law, Mary Seier (Vern) of Norfolk, NE, Carol Gubbels (Dave) of Baudette, MN, Dianne Hall (Adam) of Lincoln, NE, Bob Keiter (Jolene) of Gretna, NE, Dave Keiter (Diane) of Kearney, NE, Dan Keiter (Belinda) of Columbus, NE and Larry Keiter (Laura) of Lincoln, NE; and his close friends, Eric and Francia Bird of El Dorado, KS. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews and 48 great nieces and nephews.
As his last act of volunteering, Chris donated his body to medical research. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral for masses, to Stockton EMS, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Heart of America Chapter in Kansas City, MO., or per family wishes.
