Chuck Stein Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chuck Stein of Salina, Kansas, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict A. Stein and Fredeline F. Stein (LaBarge); his brother James B. Stein (Patricia); his in-laws, Herschel, Ethel Pitts, Gwen Pitts, Dick Pitts (Judy) and Jerry Pitts; and his great grandchild Reagan Blake Carbajo.

He is survived by: his wife Radonna Pitts; his children, Elizabeth (Beth), Kindall (Brent) of Minneapolis, KS, Julie Reed (Kevin) of Wichita, KS and David Stein (Robin) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Caleb Kindall of Abilene, KS, Abby Sills (Tre) of Loveland, CO, Kendall Reed (Ashton) of Dallas, TX, Maddie Schuchardt (Carter) of Fayetteville, AR, Paige Carbajo (Andy) of Overland Park, KS, Kaitlin Stein (Christian) and Grace Fischer (Matt) of Overland Park, KS; and his great grandchildren, Scottie Joy Fischer and Eden Jane Sills.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salina First Church of the Nazarene and be left in care of the funeral home.
