He is survived by: his children, Daniel Chavez Jr. (Cindy) and Dani Leslie Lovseth; his brothers, Oscar (Linda), Rosendo (Jean), Richard, Paul and Victor; his half-brother Fosty Martinez (Diane); his sisters, Albina Arceo (Cres), Phyllis Loder (Clint), Elisa Hernandez and Barbara Chavez; his half-sister Suki Renteria (Isamel); and his grandchildren, Holly Strickland, Tyler Lovseth, Kelsi Chavez, Lindsey Clark, Kiley Chavez, Cortland Clark, Lane and Jaylynn Strickland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
