With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David J. Atkinson (Salina, Kansas), born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Atkinson and John Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Atkinson; his daughters, Madonna Anglin of Salina, Melissa Ingram of Salina and Marcella Scheck of Colorado Spring; and his grandchildren, Duncan Anglin, Connor Anglin, Meleia Ingram, Luke Ingram, Ryan Scheck and Derek Scheck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Send memorials to the Saline County Uplanders Youth Program for Pheasants Forever and Quail Unlimited; and Salina Regional Health Center caretakers for David Atkinson, both in care of Ryan Mortuary.
