He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Torrey and Bonnie Torrey (Quillen). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Gile; his children, Jason Torrey (Katie Woods) of Salina, Amanda McIntire (Scott Olson) of Salina and Patrick Torrey (Sarah) of Salina; his grandchildren, Zachary Torrey of Atlanta, McKenzee Hall of Ellinwood, Angela Hall of Salina, Lauren Torrey of Salina, Maegan Torrey of Salina, Harrison Torrey of Salina, Leah Torrey of Salina, Tyson Torrey of Salina and Braxton McIntire of Salina; and his siblings, Dennis Torrey (Diann), Brenda Huiett (John) and Gaylene Pauley (Jim).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel (1920 E Crawford St, Salina, KS 67401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kansas Honor Flight, Bethany Home, or VFW Post 1432, in care of Heier Scott Mortuary and Cremations, 1920 East Crawford Street, Salina, Kansas 67401.
