He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Engelbert and Laura Lea Engelbert (Petz); and his sibling's children, James Dean Emmel and Tina Stout. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. Marsh; and his siblings, Eugene Engelbert (Judy), Caroline Braum, Anna Emmel (Joe), Arnold Engelbert (Lynette), Michael Engelbert (Andressa), Mary Engelbert Derowitsch, Lisa Duncan (Vince), Barbara Clay (Greg) and Cheryl Rombough.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Edward's memory to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.
