She was predeceased by: her father James Henry Clay; her siblings, Rosa, Beulah, Brenda-Ann, Nelsie McLaughlin, Velma "Mona" McLaughlin, Moody McLaughlin and James Curtis "Chill" McLaughlin; her grandchildren, Baby Hamilton and Jacobi Miles Brown; and her sibling Brown.
She is survived by: her mother Annie May Coleman McLaughin; her husband Therman Jones; her children, Vincent (Las Vegas), Therman "Gerald" of Salina, James (Topeka), Jeffrey (New Underwood), Janetta Hamilton, Stacey McLaughlin (Brooklyn) and Carolyn Hull-Matthews (Salina); her siblings, Bennie McLaughlin (Gertrude), Billy "Joe" McLaughlin (Jamaica), Eugene "Cotton" McLaughlin (Jamaica), Loretta McLaughlin (Brooklyn), Will Burnett and Travis Jackson (Salina); and her brother-in-law Willie Isom (Salina). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, as well as a host of extended family and cherished friends.
