We bid farewell to Eleanor Ward of Salina, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Eleanor touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Eleanor has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Evan Ward (Jeff Ward); her brother John Hahn; and her son-in-law Robert Wittman (Judy Ward). She is survived by: her husband Jim Ward of Salina; and her children, Scott Ward (Sherry), Jeff Ward (Rhonda), Brian Ward (Gayle), Judy Ward (Robert Wittman) and Jennifer Zink (Lynn). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:10 PM at the Sacred Heart Cathedral (118 N 9th St, Salina, KS 67401).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Salina Rescue Mission, Eleanor's favorite charity.
