It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene H. Hurd of Salina, Kansas, born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hurd and Mary Thomas Hurd; his former spouse Sonnehilda Behrens; his wife Leona Ochs; his sons, Tim Hurd and Mike Hurd; his stepson Mike Hawkins; and his daughter Shelley Hurd.

He is survived by: his sons, Phil Hurd (Connie) of Salina and Dan Hurd (Jo) of Rozel, Kansas; and his stepchildren, Mark Hawkins (Cindy), Deb Hall (Jim) and Lori Frame. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
