He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kohr (Betty) and Lillian Kohr (Sando); his brothers, Jack (Roney) and Roger; and his sister-in-law Gwendolyn Schoshke (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his children, Diana Gilpin (Bruce) of Middleburg, FL, Karen Troyer (John) and Larry Kohr (Carol); his grandchildren, Jennifer King (Eddis), Stephanie Hillcher, Michelle Hillard (Scott), Kyle Van Doren (Suzette), Kimberly Lott (James), Joshua Kohr (Kristin) and Jessica Conkling (Richard); and his caregiver Ashley Klaurens. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church and Kansas Honor Flight in care of Ryan Mortuary (Salina).
