He is survived by: his wife Misti May Smith; his children, Jordan Alexandra Smith, Caroline Sue Hurst, Brianna Marie Smith and Andrew Paul Goltl; his mother Mattie Smith of Hope Mills; and his sisters, Sharon Regina Barham (Tondalaya Richardson) and Kaia Rae Marie Kemp.
