He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Shramek and Sylvia P. Shramek (Garst); and his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Shramek, Barbara Ann and Linda Jolene.
He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Dacia Shramek, Curtis Shramek, Kathy Gonzalez, Joseph Daniel Cruz, Ricky Cruz and Ronald Cruz; and his brothers, Mark, Patrick and John. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
