He was predeceased by : his parents, Chris Wassenberg and Gertie Wassenberg. He is survived by : his wife Dee; his daughters, Renee Moritz of Hays and Julie Wassenberg of Marquette; his stepchildren, Tami Stone of Gladstone, MO, Matt Hertig of Lawrence and Tara Hertig of Bennington; and his brothers, Donald Wassenberg of Marysville, Chris Wassenberg of Reno, NV and David Wassenberg of Salina. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven step grandchildren.
