With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice L. Doherty of Salina, Kansas, who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janice L. Doherty to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Schreuder and Lois Ruth Schreuder (Browning); her sister Peggy Ann Schlaefli; and her grandparents, Peter, Tracie Schreuder (Folger), Earl and Bertha Browning (Orr).

She is survived by : her sister Connie Hocking (Jim); and her nieces and nephews, Kim Viets (Mark), Girard, Bill Schlaefli, Pete Hocking (Sara), Susan Elting (Tony) of Hebron, NE and Jillian Hocking (Kalyn) of Kalamazoo, MI.. She is also survived by her ten great nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Theatre Salina or Salina Symphony, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St, Salina, KS 67401.
