He is survived by: his wife Debra Ortiz Hernandez; his children, Nicaela Marroquin (Nica), Jesus Hernandez (Chuy) and Julia Hernandez (Who); his grandchildren, Aliya Marroquin, Zaden Marroquin, Dominic Marroquin and Alejandro Hernandez; and his siblings, Ladislado Hernandez, Susana Rodriguez, Steven Hernandez, Valentin Hernandez and Rose Monroy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Deane Wiley Park (2406 Campus Dr, Garden City, KS 67846).
