He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Owens and Betty Owens; his siblings, Marika and Thomas; his nephews, Lakota and Chard; and his parents-in-law, Duane and Marcene Allison.

He is survived by: his wife Angela Allison; his sons, Wesley and Josh (Crystal); his grandchildren, Peyton and Elizabeth of Cabot, Arkansas; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Patton (Allison) and David Allison of Junction City, KS.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

During COVID, Wesley and Jody went seeking a dog.
